Are automatic cars available?

Yes — a large part of our fleet is automatic, including SUVs, sedans and family cars. Reserve early in peak season (June–August) as automatics sell out first.

Do I need a 4x4 to reach the mountains?

Accepted Answer

All main roads to Žabljak, Kolašin and Durmitor are paved. A SUV or 4x4 is more comfortable on narrow switchbacks and gives extra ground clearance for unpaved viewpoints.

Are the mountain roads open year-round?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the main routes (M3, M18) are cleared and open in every season. For off-the-map viewpoints in spring, we recommend a 4x4 or all-wheel-drive vehicle.

Yes. Trans Lux accepts most major debit cards — no credit card required for booking or pickup.

Is insurance included?

Accepted Answer

Basic CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and Theft Protection are included in every rental. Full coverage with zero deductible is available as an upgrade.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price you see at booking is the price you pay — taxes, basic insurance, unlimited mileage, and 24/7 roadside assistance are all included.
